Hangetsu Yoga is very excited to be hosting, international teacher, Amy Figoli. Amy has been busy leading trainings in Slovenia, Italy,
South America and her studio in Maine. She also assists Master Teacher Tias Little as often as her schedule permits. A little bit about her.....
Amy Figoli leads her classes through a variety of practices, with vigor and quiet intention. She offers space to inquire within the practice, while allowing her students the opportunity to reflect and inquire within. Amy inspires to work in the moment, aquire a sense of presence, honesty and intention with full awareness.
Amy has trained extensively with Nationally recognized Master Teacher Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea and Master teacher Tias Little. Amy has been honored to assist Tias on an ongoing basis as her training and studies have grown and evolved. In her search for finding balance between the physical practice of the west and the studies originating from the east she has cultivated a practice that leaves the student with the capacity to be seen, felt, and heard thus bringing forth change and transformation. As stability and ease wash over the body and enter the mind, the silent voice that was once suppressed now has the opportunity to speak. Amy has become an international teacher and offers Yoga Intensives and Immersions in the USA, Europe, South America and Australia in April. She is the creator and founder of the Shala Institute of Yoga -Integrating Art and Science for Whole Health.
This event will be in early October and Amy is agreed to teach classes over two weekends.
